I was reading Mark 3 and I wondered about the story of the man being healed on the sabbath. It says that Jesus was "grieved" at their hardness of heart. The New English Bible says, "...he was grieved at their obstinate stupidity." (I like that translation.)
I wonder if he is thinking of the kingdom as a place where people are supposed to be healed and helped. Maybe the church is like a hospital or an "urgent care center" where people come to get help?

LOL, gotta share with Brian -- that's a good translation, and probably more accurate!! I've thought the same thing about being healed and getting help. Great minds think alike.
